Yes, the Kent State library system offers access to thousands of electronic books. Many are included in KentLINK and can be identified in a list of search results by the "E-BOOK" icon. In order to search only for e-books, use the advanced search and choose "EBOOKS" as the material type. You can access an e-book by clicking on the "Item or related information available online" link in the list of search results or by clicking on the "Connect to resource" link on an item's detailed entry.

Other sources of electronic books can be found through the E-books Guide. In order to read many of these e-books from off-campus locations, you will have to login to the proxy or OhioLINK authentication; see the Connect from Off-campus page.
