You might not have sent your document to the correct printer. When you print something at a computer in the Main Library and are presented with the list of available printers, be sure to select either "Library Public Printing B&W" for black and white printing or "Library Public Printing Color" for color printing. Sometimes the printer that is selected by default on the computer that you are using is "Fax," "Microsoft XPS Document Writer," "PDFCreator," or something else other than one of the public printers.
It is also possible that someone selected your print job by mistake and printed it out. If that has happened, you weren't charged for it; the person who printed it out paid for it. It's possible that it was left in a tray near the printers, so you might actually be able to get what you wanted to print without paying for it. Otherwise, you will need to submit your print job again. During the process of submitting your print job, you can choose a password, which will prevent someone else from selecting your items by mistake.
Yet another possibility is that you waited too long to go to one of the print stations. The print jobs that are sent to the print stations are automatically deleted after a period of time.
